I agree with this one.
It seems like a lot of Black people have lost all respect for others in attempt to be the cool guy that they see in movies, rap songs, and music videos
I am going to politely disagree with this one. Racism is systematic and white people have power and privilege. Plus its still accepted (for some stupid reason) that white people are morally superior and more attractive.
I can’t comment on general hatred and rude racially directed comments though. You could be right in that respect.I am seething. You HAVE to be kidding me right now. You HAVE to be. A lot of black people are trying to be the “cool guy” in rap songs. I can not even believe I am reading this. To try to gauge just how racist one race is against another is just plain old ridiculous. Do you have some facts and figures telling you that more black people are racists?
Because as of right now according to this bullshit with all the racism that has been directed at me I can safely say most white people are racists. Just because the majority of white people I have met have been racists, I can say that most of all the white people in the world are the same way.
That sounds ridiculous right? Yeah because it is.
You have GOT to be fucking kidding. First, kudos to the comment on the term racist, we automatically can not me “racist”. Racism is a system. Racism is prejudice plus power, power being the privilege of being white, a power we do not have and have no access too.
Now if you think black people are more prejudice than white people that just goes to show just how very fucking little you even notice your surroundings because of that privileged little happy bubble you’ve got going on.
Ha! Yep, we’re racist, we’re holding you’re people back, by large. You are so right. How could I not see? We black folks have been holding down the white man! Learn something new every day.
Gotta be fucking kidding me.
Seriously though, for you to even THINK whatever tiny little happenstance, idk, “honkey”-calling by the black people that have offended your poor litter heart is IN ANY WAY comparable to the hundreds of years of physical, mental, emotional oppression, damage, and brainwashing makes me fucking livid. You simply MUST be kidding.
I think this is just based on what certain people experience. Here in NY, most times if I go into some sort of retail establishment - McDonald’s, WalMart, whatever it may be, I will notice that many African American (usually a female will do this) cashier or worker of similar job title is RUDE AS FUCK to me. And I will know this is not their usual demeanor because the person in line in front of me will also be an African American. I am of Dominican, Irish, and Mexican descent. Apparently that makes me white if you see all people as white or black. If the person in front of me in line is African American and the cashier is too, the cashier usually strikes up a conversation with them and smiles, tells them to have a good day and all that. THE MOMENT I walk up she doesn’t even talk. Groans and gives me an attitude and I do nothing. I may even say please, thank you, smile, anything to give her the benefit of the doubt. Maybe she had a bad day and that was her friend she was happy to see. Nothing changes. I get a rude look, no response, and if I ask a question it’s not even a verbal answer, just a groan or point to something that will answer. I could stay polite the whole time and she will still give an issue. And if the person behind me if African American as well, she’ll be all smiles the moment they walk up. This has happened many many times, not just one place, person, or establishment. So the person who originally submitted this opinion has probably been in my shoes and is just pissed off. I’m not racist, and you treat me like I’m a white male in the 1800s enslaving your family! I don’t use you and treat you like shit and I did nothing to you, so get with the times. I’m not responsible for what happened to your grandparents.
